NeoplantaQUANTA - quantum computing summer school 24-28.08.2026
Abstract
From August 24 to 28, 2026, a quantum computing school called NeoplantaQUANTA was held at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad. The local host was the Department of Physics, and the organizing team included Dr. Sonja Gombar, Prof. Dr. Petar Mali, and Prof. Dr. Milica Pavkov-Hrvojević. The lectures were delivered by Dr. Jovan Odavić, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Naples. Each day, more than 30 students followed the course, both online and in person. They came mostly from physics, but also from informatics and mathematics at the Novi Sad Faculty of Sciences, as well as from the Faculty of Mathematics and the Institute of Physics in Belgrade, the Faculty of Sciences in Kragujevac, and the University of La Sapienza in Rome.
